Tuppy and Bec is based in Brisbane and we love nothing more than being in the creative moment, with the excitement and challenge of colour and shape and texture, to create something beautiful to be loved by us and others.
Ideas come at all hours, and usually morph into the next thing over time...we never stay in the same place for too long. Consequently we make lots of one-off items - from knitted friends for little people to clothing, brooches and lots more.
Into the mix goes a background of art practice and teaching, pattern making, design, knitting and sewing, as well as performance, fabric printing and dying, all mixed in to the melting pot of imagination and ideas along with travel to beautiful and stunning places, both in Australia and overseas - a wonderful creative journey really, which we are combining with motherhood on one hand and retirement on the other.
